From the campsite to the sea and nature by bike

The recent construction of the Ciclovia Tirrenica along the coastline of the Gulf of Follonica allows everyone to enjoy beautiful bike rides while discovering the most stunning beaches of the Maremma coast.

The cycle path runs right in front of the campsite and is suitable for all levels, as the routes are flat or have only minimal elevation changes. The surface is a comfortable compact material, ideal for any type of bicycle.

For cycling enthusiasts, in addition to the cycle path, we can also recommend a range of MTB, gravel, or road routes. We can also provide GPX tracks, making your seaside stay a perfect opportunity to enjoy your favorite sport.

Northbound: wild beaches and the Sterpaia Coastal Park

Following the coastline and passing Follonica, you reach the well-known beaches of Torre Mozza and Carbonifera. Continuing into the Piombino area, you’ll find the beaches of Mortelliccio and Perelli, in the heart of the beautiful Sterpaia Coastal Park.

Southbound: Punta Ala and Cala Violina

Heading south, after Puntone di Scarlino, the route becomes gently rolling and leads to the stunning pine forest and beaches of Punta Ala. From Puntone, you can take a detour to the famous Cala Violina, one of the most enchanting bays in Tuscany.
